Capehart / Earhart Military Housing

These 194 family housing units were constructed in the Capehart/Earhart Neighborhood located on Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu for the men and women who serve in the United States Air Force. The new military homes consisted of 2, 4, and 6-plex buildings with each unit having approximately 1400 square feet of living space.

ECH's role in this military contract was to demolish and remove the existing overhead electrical system and complete all new building and underground site electrical and communications infrastructure work including the installation of 15kV high voltage cable, Electric and Communications Manholes, Handholes, Concrete Encased Duct Banks, Terminating, Testing & Certification, HV Switches, Transformers, Commissioning, Roadway Lighting, Communications Underground Structures, Testing, and Vault Installations.
